As a former mechanic, I have a unique insight into reviewing other shops. I was in a pinch and needed a set of tires put on. Wear indicated an alignment would be a good idea, so opted for that too. Didn't mention to Joe that I'm retired from the business, not to hide anything, but there just wasn't time during the quick and easy drop off procedure. I was contacted when they had the car on the lift to suggest some items that the car is certainly in need of. I politely declined the additional service and was not pressured or given any kind of hard-sell. The job was completed on time for the cost estimated. During pick up, I has happy to find out that correcting and sealing the corrosion on the bead of my wheels was included in the price. This is a professional shop with contentious techs and management running an honest business. Highly recommend. And they are super conveniently located within walking distance from my job! (yay me)

Aus and Chris were excellent! Were very clear and informative about what was needed and why and gave multiple options to resolve the issue. They were very friendly and it was a great experience.

The 2 guys were very nice because they seen a lady that meant. Free money for doing nothing diagnosted my suv for 20 minutes cost $68.43. Just to tell me sensors for transmission and transmission fluid low..i ask them. To check the trans fluid they said thats too much trouble but putting the reader on is much easier and more 💰 took my money and didnt fill in my transmission fluid and thats what i needed. Some kind of service u come in for one thing get a another service and didnt get what u came in for to check and fill transmission fluid. Then quote me a price of $5000

Sandra came into our shop asking to have the transmission fluid checked, but, based on her description of the issues she was having, it was clear the problems with her vehicle were related to the transmission itself, not to mention other issues the vehicle had that we discovered and reported to her. We performed a FREE scan AND vehicle inspection and explained that changing the transmission fluid would not fix the problem. So she AUTHORIZED an hour diag, but we only charged for half an hour and were able to confirm several issues with the vehicle that would indeed cost in the neighborhood of $5000 if she wished to have the vehicle pass PA State Inspection and be safe to drive. We documented the issues for her and even researched options for replacing or repairing the transmission. Sandra was an unscheduled walk-in and we put way more time and effort into assisting her than she was billed for (she was with us for over an hour). It's a shame this is how gratitude is shown. No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

Good people always makes the good environment and Good environment always lead to Great Customer satisfaction. ASM auto is a great place for all your car maintenance / repair needs. This is not the first time I have visited ASM auto, I was the customer for them from the day one they have started at Malvern PA. For every visit I got the excellent support from them and I really like their recommendations and time period what they propose instead of saying you have to take care of it immediately. Their prices also very economical and every time I got the discounts automatically. Very great place with good and talented technicians. Thanks ASM auto.

Very friendly staff. Great pricing. Was in and out in under the quotes time. While I was there they even talked a customer out of extra/unnecessary work. Will definitely be back.

I dropped in my car for an inspection and it failed. There were 2 reasons: 1. One of the lights is out: Okay, that needs to be fixed 2. For having tint on my windows for front windows (which is within legal limit) I had the car for over 11 years and all these years i had the tint and it always passed. Never heard of this reason for failing an inspection. Not happy with the service. Not going back. Looks like they are new and not experienced

We have a combined 57 years of experience and the tint on the customers window was clearly in violation of the Pennsylvania state code. We made every effort to explain to the customer precisely why it failed, even providing him with a printout of the part of the code pertaining to window tint, but he wasn’t interested, repeatedly making the same claim of other shops ignoring it. If we are to earn this 1 star review for reading the code and doing our jobs properly, then we gladly accept it and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
